A husband is facing a 16-year prison sentence after he beat his wife into a coma, filming it so that he could show off to his friends.
It was another case of domestic violence, which tragically claimed the life of the victim, 28-year-old Anastacia from Russia who was married to one Maxim Gribanov.
Maxim Gribanov from Lebedyan, western Russia, struck his wife repeatedly and filmed the attack to prove to his friends that he had her “under control“. She had told him that she wanted to end their relationship after years of abuse and suffering at the hands of her husband. But instead of talking things out or maybe even imploring the help of a therapist, Gribanov decided to turn his wife into a punching bag.
He kicked and punched her repeatedly over a course of several hours that she fell into a coma. Being a remorseless jerk that he was, he actually filmed the incident, can you believe that? And showed the footage to his friends!
Pictures from the brutal attack show her on a sofa with bruises on her entire body. When she was taken to the hospital, Anastasia was found to have severe bruising, internal bleeding and several broken bones. She died six days after.
A family friend says: “She was so full of hope and fun but this man destroyed her life. He should be treated in the same way as he treated her.”
Anastasia’s friends said that she had met someone new and was trying to build up the courage to leave her violent husband, who had forced her to quit her town hall job. However, after suffering years of abuse, bullying and intimidation she was too scared to leave him in fear of what he would do. He even threatened her brother and father if they reported him or if they tried to stop him from beating Anastasia.
Yulia Kuznetzova, a police spokeswoman, says: “At first the man was charged with assault which caused severe damages to the woman’s health.
“But after she died, the charges were changed. The suspect pleaded partially guilty. He said he had his reasons.”
What a heartless human being. Even dogs are kinder.

Thank you @sidomex for this news. This is an Eye opener to women out there. Never put up with anybody who beats you up this way. Women should learn to never endure beating. And again this one is sick after beating the poor woman into a coma, he even went as far as videoing the whole show. Haba!!! The woman has even being suffering years of abuse with him. This is sad
