According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), 350 new coronavirus infections were recorded in Nigeria on Thursday, 4 May 2020.
The NCDC reported this during its nightly coronavirus in Nigeria update.
According to the NCDC, the total number of coronavirus infections in Nigeria now stands at 11,516. Of this number, 323 have died from COVID-19, while 3535 persons have recovered and have been discharged from isolation centres across the country. Hence, the active cases in the country now stand at 7,658.
Taking to its official Twitter handle, the NCDC writes, “
