Nigeria has recorded an additional 360 coronavirus cases according to the latest data released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The NCDC made the revelation during its nightly update on coronavirus in Nigeria via its Twitter handle on Monday, 1 March 2021.
According to the centre, the total number of coronavirus infections in the country now stands at 156,017 confirmed. The centre also stated that 133,904 COVID-19 patients have recovered and have been discharged. COVID-19 is the disease caused by the coronavirus, known formally as SARS-Cov-2.
Meanwhile, 1,915 people have died from COVID-19 related complications. This means that the active number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Nigeria as of Monday night, 1 March is 20,198
