The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed five additional cases of Coronavirus, also known as Covid-19 in Nigeria.
As of evening od 26th March 2020 when we got some uplifting news that six patients who tested positive for the Coronavirus in Lagos have recovered, 14 new cases got discovered and now, 5 more.
According to the NCDC, five new cases of the coronavirus pandemic were confirmed in Nigeria and this has led to a rise in the total number of confirmed cases to 70.
Taking to their official Twitter handle, the NCDC writes: “Five new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 3 in FCT & 2 in Oyo State
“As at 08:00 pm 27th March, there are 70 cases of confirmed #COVID19 reported Nigeria. 3 have been discharged with 1 death.”
