We are so loving this Nigerian mom who took to social media to explain what made her take down her daughter’s pictures from social media.
According to Instagram user, Adetoro Adeyemi @prettytoro, she had had taken down the pictures after being told that not only would her baby’s pictures mislead potential suitors into thinking she’s married, but also because men aren’t necessarily attracted to single moms.
However, Adetoro made a big discovery soon after – that self-improvement is more important than attracting a man. She says: “The goal was to work on myself first, get better so a man will become an added advantage later.”
She declares her love for daughter and says admits she “will love if any man eyeing me on here just accepts us together.”
She also has a word for would-be suitors: “if you are seeing this, I’m sorry I couldn’t resist putting up my baby. She is too adorable.”
And ends her post on a positive note:
“So, here is cheers to our 2018. We go blow. I will make you (daughter) proud and I am proud of you, and that’s why you will never be hidden by me because you are a Star.”
