Arsenal could land an amazing talent in Martin Odegaard and have made an approach to Real Madrid for the attacking midfielder.
The Norway international has told his current employers Real Madrid he wants a move this month so as to get regular first-team football.
The Real Madrid board is currently considering the latest proposal from the London club.
Arsenal, however, face strong competition for Odegaard, including at least one other Premier League club hoping to also secure his services.
Odegaard has struggled for game time under Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane this season, featuring just 12 times without scoring a goal.
The 22-year-old dazzled while on loan at Real Sociedad last season grabbing seven goals and nine assists across 36 appearances.
Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, is said to be keen on securing the young talent this January.
