This week, we see Peruzzi’s new jam “Somebody baby” featuring Davido debut in the top ten charts of two out of the three music streaming platforms that we are considering. These platforms – Apple Music, Audiomack, and Boomplay – are the most popular in Nigeria at this time.
“Coming” by Naira Marley and Busiswa finished the week again on a strong foot, topping two charts and coming second in the other. It led the standings on Apple Music daily chart as of its latest update on 4 April 2021, toppling the star-studded “Dimension” single by JAE5.
The platform’s original top ten songs in Nigeria features two foreign songs, “Loved By You” and “Peaches”, both of which are off American singer Justin Beiber’s latest album justice. Since we only consider songs made by Nigerian artists as eligible for our top ten, these two are removed.
