Nigerian singer Simi took to her Twitter handle to puff about feminism making men vulnerable and members of the Twitter community have various opinions about that.
Simisola Ogunleye known simply as Simi is married to fellow singer Adekunle Gold, and the couple has been busy serving us couple goals on social media. However, Simi took a break from all that to tweet about feminism.
According to the singer, society gave men the superiority card and the same society is taking it away from them, and men don’t know what to do about that. She also urges men not to be afraid to support women as that will improve life for everyone.
Her tweet: “Feminism makes many men feel so vulnerable because you find that society that gave you your “superiority card” is starting to know (and want) better for women – and you dunno wtf to do. Lol.
“Gag is, if you support us, life is better for everyone. Don’t be afraid”

This tweet from Simi has attracted a lot of reactions from fans on Twitter.
The issue of feminism is one that is quite sensitive in Nigeria as some are against it while others are in support. Some ladies have taken the topic a bit over board and whenever the topic is broached, Nigerian men seem to react badly to it.
A male fan tweets “Simi’s definition of feminism is really funny. So we men have to be scared of you cuz you’re a feminist. L O L”

Must Simi talk in every Social Topic? Can’t she just mind her singing career and matrimonial home in peace? Or better still improve in her fashion sense to get more endorsement deals?
