Netflix wants to work with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Netflix is absolutely interested in working with royals, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

“Who wouldn’t be interested?” the streaming service’s chief content officer, Ted Sarandos responded when asked about potentially working with the couple.

Netflix’s interest is coming only a few weeks after the couple issued a surprise statement, sharing that they would step back from their roles as senior royals and earn their own money.

This decision has seen them lose their HRH titles and will see them pay back the £2.4 million the couple received to renovate Frogmore cottage, which is their home in the UK.

Harry reportedly approached Disney CEO, Robert Iger with the news that his wife, Meghan Markle does voice-over work.

“If anyone needs any extra voice over work … ” he was reportedly caught on tape saying to Jon Favreau.

“That’s really why we’re here — it’s the pitch!” his wife then joked, according to the reports.

Shortly before the tape was released, news that Meghan Markle had signed a voice-over deal with Disney was released, with the Duchess forfeiting direct payment for a donation to an Elephant charity that she’s a patron of.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex could walk in the steps of the Obamas, signing multi-million dollar deals with international companies.

Netflix would open the Sussexes up to an audience of 158 million and put them side by side with ‘The Crown’, which is a show that chronicles the life of Queen Elizabeth.
