The Clippers were without Kawhi Leonard who suffered a blow to the mouth that left him bloodied on Christmas Day against the Nuggets but regardless, the Mavericks deserve due credit as they came out on the night with a mission that was perfectly executed.

Luka Doncic had 24 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists on the night while Paul George scored 15 points and Serge Ibaka added 13 points and nine rebounds for Los Angeles, whose perfect start to the season came to a shuddering halt.
