The Game hints at a new Kendrick Lamar song coming soon

While many still ponder on why there hasn’t really been any music personally from Kendrick Lamar since 2017 save a feature with Busta Rhymes back in October 2020, rapper The Game, who says he’s inspired to start making music again, has revealed there might be a new song coming from Lamar soon.

A video of fellow Compton legend, The Game, started to make rounds on social media on Monday with the rapper praising J. Cole for his new groundbreaking project, also hinting at Kendrick Lamar making a comeback.

The Game said, “I talked to Top Dawg. You know, he told me Kendrick ‘bout to hit n****s with some s--t real soon and s--t. So, you know, who knows how real soon that it but if Kendrick is working, that s--t is always major.”

Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE), Kendrick Lamar’s music home, posted a teaser back in April, sending fans into a frenzy believing it could be related to their fave, Kendrick Lamar.

While there were no specifics concerning who was dropping the new music, speculations ran wild pointing at Kendrick, who was poised to headline Glastonbury in 2020.

Still, if there’s anyone who can emphatically give references to the inside scoop at Top Dawg Entertainment, it’s gotta be The Game.

TDE’s artists are also notorious for taking long breaks in between projects. However, the world is due for another Kendrick Lamar album. His last body of work was the Grammy award-winning project “DAMN” in 2017.
