Kendrick Lamar gets a feature on a new track by Baby Keem titled “Range Brothers” and has registered titles with ASCAP, likely for a coming album.
“It’s been 23 years”, or so it seems, since we had anything from Kendrick Lamar. And who else will bring the rap icon back than his blood cousin Hykeem Jamaal Carter Jr., known by the stage name Baby Keem.
Their new track is aptly titled “Range Brothers”, as these two rappers do have the range to cover several topics, themes and styles in less than 6 minutes.
Here you can listen to Baby Keem & Kendrick Lamar “Range Brothers”:
The poetically titled track is not the first time that the blood relations are linking up professionally. Just two weeks ago, at the end of August 2020, they also released a track titled “Family Ties“, which has been making waves since.

With two features in about the same number of weeks, after being completely absent since 2020, it appears that Kendrick Lamar fans are about to eat good. The last time he was this active in the music scene, Messi and Ronaldo were still playing for Barcelona and Juventus, respectively.
Things have changed. They appear on the verge of changing even more. According to NME, Lamar, who has not dropped a single of his own since the 2018 Black Panther tracks, has registered eight titles earlier this week with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). They are:
- Before The Hangman’s Noose
- Comfortable
- Director
- Fighter Thief In The Night
- Fade To Black
- Erika Kane
- End Of The Line
- Of Paupers And Poets
While this does not prove anything, it does point at some movements in the rapper’s camp. Also, recall that in August, Kendrick Lamar Duckworth told his fans that he would be dropping his last album with his label Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE).
