Naira Marley released his viral hit song, “Opotoyi”, on the 7th of June 2019, which coincided with his tussle with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after the law enforcement agency picked him up for allegedly involvement in internet fraud.
Naira Marley seems to thrive with controversies surrounding him. Whether it’s his racy lyrics or getting dragged for something he said, Naira couldn’t be bothered about the criticisms he gets daily.
“Opotoyi” took to the streets and soon catches everyone’s attention with many hinting on the sexual innuendos from the song.
The video for “Opotoyi” was released almost immediately after the single dropped. It has amassed over 10m views to date.
