Mr Real’s “Legbegbe” remix was released after the huge success of the original got him a recording deal with Sony Music Entertainment Africa.
The song was actually released on the 14th of September 2018 and features wSouth African house disk jockey and musician DJ Maphorisa, Niniola, DJ Catzico and Vista.
Just like every viral song, the original made it across the borders of Nigeria and seriously promoted the reigning dance in the country then – the shaku shaku.
Nigerian music video director Sesan shot the video for “Legbegbe Remix”, set in a post-apocalyptic world where everyone seems to have caught the shaku shaku bug.
