Matches To See This Weekend

European top flight league continues over the weekend and it is a crowd of matches lined up from today until Monday. Again it is the problem of having just two eyes and too many things to be seen, so, we are giving you four matches that you shouldn’t miss if your situation permits.

On Saturday, RB Leipzig hosts Borussia Monchegladbach in the Bundesliga and just like they had faced off Monaco in their Champions League first match, Leipzig are hard-pressed to keep up the outstanding performance they had started last campaign. Monchegladbach would be looking to overtake Leipzig in the table and also to prove to their fans that allowing Chicharito to leave for England is not a decision that would haunt them.

Meanwhile, in England, on Sunday, Chelsea hosts the Gunners who are back to winning ways following their successive wins both in the league and the Europa after their 4-0 loss at Anfield. Although there would be no war of words as is common between these clubs thanks to the absence of Mourinho, both teams have honor to fight for and even better: three points up for grabs. Fabregas would want to hurt the team of his youth and Wenger would want to keep the fans happy.

Still on Sunday, Real Sociedad hosts Real Madrid who are more than happy to welcome back a red hot Christiano Ronaldo who ensured that they regained their winning gene and fear factor ahead of the trip. Real Sociedad are second on the La Liga table with nine points out of three games and have won all four matches they played this season with impressive score lines, it would be a real battle between a now inspired Sociedad team and a Madrid team that will want to stop their tottering displays in the league after two consecutive draws.

Finally, on that Sunday we get to watch the world most expensive attacking trio take on a less impressive Lyon team. PSG are currently on a run of seven consecutive victories in all matches this season and they would hope to add Lyon to their list of casualties, while if not for points then for the sheer joy of pulling them off their high horse, Lyon would be determined to block PSG rampage and bring them back down to earth.
