WWE Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque recovering after cardiac health issue

WWE star Paul Levesque, better known by his ring name Triple H, is recovering after suffering a cardiac-related health event last week.

In a statement on Wednesday, 8 September 2021, WWE revealed that Triple H had undergone a procedure last week following a cardiac event caused by a genetic heart issue and is expected to make a full recovery.

Paul Levesque, a.k.a. Triple H, underwent a successful procedure last week at Yale-New Haven Hospital following a cardiac event. The episode was caused by a genetic heart issue and Paul is expected to make a full recovery,” the statement reads in part.

The 52-year-old Levesque is part of WWE’s management team as the executive vice president of global talent strategy and development, including him being the executive producer of the NXT and NXT UK brands.

The in-ring legend hasn’t wrestled since 2019. Although, 2019 was an active year for him as he was in action four times that year. He faced Batista at WrestleMania 35, wrestled Randy Orton at Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia, and appeared at two house shows in Japan.
