Following a long rant by writer, Joy Isi Bewaji, Tacha’s Instagram has disappeared from Instagram. A search for Tacha’s handle returns a ‘user not found’ response.
Now, news has emerged that Mercy may not actually be a brand ambassador for Moet & Chandon.
Recall that a few weeks ago, Mercy announced on social media that she had joined the Moet & Chandon family.
“@moetchandonMy Newest Family, God Has Done Me Well Beyond My Humble Imaginations, I am So International? @cubana_chiefpriest Baddest plug,” she wrote on Instagram.
She added: “Thank you all for celebrating with me on this one.
I pray God gives you all a reason to celebrate too?
Special thanks to my big bro, @cubana_chiefpriest and my new family @moetchandon ?? ??
According to BellaNaija, Mercy is not an ambassador for Moet & Chandon.
A Moet & Chandon official reportedly told BellaNaija that Mercy is not a brand ambassador for the champagne brand. The official reportedly said that the brand proudly provided bottles of champagne for her party.
The source added that people are allowed to take pictures at their office and that was what happened.
It would be fair to point out that Mercy never explicitly stated that she is a brand ambassador for Moet & Chandon. She merely said that she is proud to join their family.
