Evra Leaves Marseille After Seven Months UEFA Ban.

The Europa league incident that saw Frenchman Patrice Evra aim a karate kick at one of his own fans has resulted in his being given a ban from UEFA competitions for the next seven months. The 36 year old also left the club after it was mutually agreed that it was the best thing for him.

 

Nigeria Draw In Algeria.

The Super Eagles looked set to take all three points from the game after John Ogu opened the scoring in the 63rd minute but a late penalty goal from Yacine Brahimi ensured that both teams settled for one points each in their last match of the qualifiers for Russia 2018.

The UFC two-weight champion who was beaten by Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match in August was watching his teammate fight and when he had knocked out his opponent, Conor McGregor jumped out of the place reserved for spectators and joined his teammate to celebrate in the fighting space (the octagon). The referee pushed him out but he got angry and rushed at the referee shoving him in the process and shouting at him before security escorted him away.

 

Barcelona To Offer Sergi Roberto New Deal.

Manchester City are reported to be eyeing the versatile player but his home club are ready to do whatever it takes to keep him, meanwhile, Coutinho will ask Liverpool to reject offers from other clubs as he waits on Barcelona to bid again for him in January.
