Senate Donates Bags Of Rice To Kogi State Civil Servants.

Senator Dino Melaye made it known to reporters yesterday that members of the senate have donated a total of 1,260 bags of rice to Kogi state civil servants to help them get through difficult times caused by delay in payment of salaries for over 22 months.

The senator also called on Nigerians to find it in their hearts to donate materials to help alleviate the sufferings of the workers under the administration of Bello Yahaya.

If you recall that a video of one of these workers trended on Twitter of him crying over his dead daughter because he could not pay hospital bills.

National Labour Congress, Kogi State chapter had once written to President Buhari to send help to the workers in the state and also crying out to individuals and organizations to send aids too.
