For a couple of weeks or more, rumors have floated on social media that the 29-year-old singer and actress Selena Gomez might be romantically involved with Captain America Chris Evan.
Although they have not been verified as the pair are yet to confirm or deny the rumors. Fans started to think that the duo was an item when in 2015, Selena admitted to having a crush on the Captain America star.
A viral TikTok shows Selena saying, “I kind of have a crush on Chris Evans. Isn’t he cute? … He’s very cute. He’s either gonna hate me or love me [for saying that].”
The comment does sound like the singer was openly confessing her feelings for the actor, however, it doesn’t prove anything. And besides, she made this comment six years ago.
Well, the time span didn’t stop fans of the stars from linking them together. On 1 October 2021, Twitter users reported that Selena Gomez and Chris had been spotted leaving the same studio and restaurant.
Sadly though, the piece of ‘evidence’ that they tendered has been debunked, as the paparazzi shots of Selena Gomez were actually taken back in 2019 and 2017, and the photos of Chris were taken in 2020 and 2013.
Selena previously dated Justin Bieber and The Weeknd, while Chris Evans previously dated Jessica Biel between 2001 and 2006, and has since been linked with Lizzo, after the “Good As Hell” singer admitted that he slid into his DMs.
Asides from Selena Gomez and Chris Evans, there are other celebrities whom fans suspect to be dating. Celebrities usually like to keep fans guessing about their relationship status. Until they walk down the red carpet or debut their romance on Instagram with their significant other, this has been the case.

Fans have been assuming the pair to be an item, and their assumption is that Ora met Taika while he was in Sydney filming Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder, with stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, and Russell Crowe.

A report later broke and claimed Taika and Rita have been dating since March 2021, adding that their friends already know about it. The Sun reported that “… they’ve been a couple since early March but kept things low key. However, all their friends know about the relationship. They’re really into each other.”
In September 2021, Rita and Taika went high fashion for the Met Gala together, and due to Rita’s jewelry choice, some fans even speculated they were engaged.
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi
The Stranger Things actress and the son of famous rocker Jon Bon Jovi were first noticed together in June 2021 in New York City, according to pictures that Daily Mail has taken.

Not long after then, Jake posted a selfie of both of them, and Millie actually commented on the picture, writing “BFF” in the company of a unicorn emoji. Everybody just assumed that they were just friends based on this picture.
In July 2021, the duo sparked romance rumors when Millie posted a picture of both of them cozying on her Instagram Stories.
In October 2017, Millie was romantically involved with singer Jacob Sartorius. She went public with his ‘sweatshirt’. However, a year later, she issued a statement announcing their breakup in July 2018.
Sharing on her Instagram Stories at the time, she wrote: “The decision with Jacob and I was completely mutual; we are both happy and remaining friends.“
