The idea to do so came to him and was supported by his fans so he decided to go through with it and launch the podcast as was requested by his fans.
It all started after the rapper took to Twitter on Thursday, 25 June to ask his fans if he should launch a podcast. He asked: “Should I do my own podcast??”
Just over an hour later, he had received a barrage of affirmative replies that finally pushed him to start the new project. He returned just over an hour later, he returned with the announcement that he would indeed be launching his own podcast
“All love no sh*t talkin,” Cudi wrote in another tweet about the upcoming podcast. “Only uplifting artists and talkin w my friends and fans. All positive vibes! It’ll be like ur hangin w me smokin and shootin the s--t for awhile. Itll be meant to comfort the lonely.”

Kid Cudi will now join a host of other musicians who have launched their own podcasts, including Joe Budden, Nicki Minaj, T.I., Lil Wayne, and others.
