Kunle Afolayan to star ‘Be calming down’ viral kid in forthcoming movie

Ace filmmaker Kunle Afolayan has confirmed the commencement of the preproduction stage of his forthcoming movie.

According to Afolayan, the new production will star internet sensation Oreofe Lawal whose “Mommy be calming down’ video went viral months ago.

The “Citation” director also unveiled other cast members including Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha, Eniola Badmus, Niyola, Deyemi Okanlawon, Ijeoma Agu, Olusegun Akinremi, Joke Muyiwa, Omotunde Adebowale, Kunle Idowu, Frank Donga and ex-big brother housemate; Thin Tall Tony.

Afolayan’s new film announcement comes in the wake of his acclaimed Netflix film, “Citation” starring Temi Otedola. The movie recently premiered in November to impressive reviews.

To make the announcement via his Instagram page, he wrote “Another KAP Magic Loading! Guess What We Are Working On?

This time last year, we started the preproduction of #Citationthemovie, and now we’re about to embark on an extraordinary journey with a group of new faces that we’ve never worked with before.

We have the singer/songwriter Eniola Akinbo popularly known as Niyola, Ijeoma Agu, Deyemi Okanlawon, Kelvin Ikeduba, ex-big brother housemate; Offiong Anthony popularly known as Thin tall Tony, Eniola Badmus, Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha, Olusegun Akinremi, Joke Muyiwa, Omotunde Adebowale, Kunle Idowu famously known as Frank Donga, Bala Bello, and a cute face that went viral for the catchphrase “mummy please be calming down, Oreofe Lawal.”
