Billionaire, Elon Musk and Grimes update their baby, X AE A-12’s name

Elon Musk and his partner, Grimes have disappointed all those who thought they already knew how to spell their son’s strange name.

The couple, who welcomed baby X AE A-12 earlier this month have announced a change in the baby’s name. When they first announced his name, fans all over the world were both shocked and amused at the choice.

Grimes took to her Twitter page to explain the name, writing:

“X, the unknown variable. Æ, my elven spelling of Ai (love &/or Artificial intelligence).

“A-12 = precursor to SR-17 (our favorite aircraft). No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Great in battle, but non-violent + (A=Archangel, my favorite song) ( metal rat).”

However, fans wondered if they would be able to keep the name considering the fact that laws in California state that baby names can only contain the 26 letters of the alphabet.

Grimes has now updated fans on Instagram, revealing that the couple made some changes to the baby’s name.

On Sunday, Grimes shared a new photo on her Instagram page, where her followers asked questions relating to the baby as well as his name.
