He cannot go out of his house, and he has had to change homes once because of the threat to his life once his address was leaked online, but he has not let that stop him.

The singer has been all over the news, especially as fellow rappers have been calling him a rat for snitching on his gang members in exchange for a lighter trial. He also released ‘Gooba’, his first song since he was released.

Well, so did Ariana Grande, Doja Cat, Nicki Minaj, and many more singers who sold more records and prevented Tekashi 6ix9ine’s song from going to the number one position on the Billboard charts.

Tekashi was angry and took to social media to accuse Billboard of cheating and tweaking the results so that Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber would outrank him.

6ix9ine claimed that Grande and Bieber indiscriminately bought 30 thousand copies of their single in order to manipulate the charts. He also accused Billboard of discounting the sales from his song.

Ariana and Justin, meanwhile took to their respective Twitter accounts to respond to the claims, saying that they deserved the spot because their fans bought the song and the details had been confirmed by Nielsen, the US data company responsible for compiling information on the Billboard charts.

Ariana addressed 6ix9ine without mentioning his name, encouraging him to be humble. She wrote in part:

to anybody that is displeased with their placement on the chart this week or who is spending their time racking their brain thinking of as many ways as they can to discredit hard-working women (and only the women for some reason…..), I ask u to take a moment to humble yourself.”

Following that, Billboard also published a detailed article refuting his allegations, writing “Overall, Stuck With U drew 28.1m US streams, 26.3m in radio airplay audience and 108,000 sold in the tracking week … Gooba had 55.3m US streams, 172,000 in radio airplay audience and 24,000 sold. Those sums resulted in the songs’ respective rankings on this week’s Hot 100.”
