Barack and Michelle Obama’s new animated series to debut on Netflix in July

Barack and Michele Obama may be out of the White House, but they certainly are not done with governance. The 44th POTUS and his wife have an animated series, “We The People,” premiering on Netflix on America’s birthday, 4 July.

As stated in its logline, the series, which consists of 10 episodes, will combine music and animation to educate a new generation of young Americans about the power of the people.

The series will have 3 minutes long animated music videos about US civic lessons designed to teach young people about government. Each episode will feature original music performed by artists like Adam Lambert, H.E.R, Bebe Rexha, Janelle Monáe, and poet Amanda Gorman amongst others.
