American host Andy Cohen tests positive to coronavirus

Andy Cohen, a popular American television show host, has taken to his Instagram page to announce that he has been infected with the coronavirus.

According to the host, he stayed in self-isolation for a few days but didn’t feel better, so he got tested.

“After a few days of self-quarantine, and not feeling great, I have tested positive for Coronavirus, ” Andy Cohen writes on his Instagram page.

Andy urges everyone to stay indoors and obey the directives of the health practitioners.

Sidomex had earlier reported that the World Health Organisation has declared the novel virus a global pandemic.

Medical practitioners and health organisations around the world are working round the clock to ensure that a cure is gotten for the dreaded virus.

Lagos State has also banned all gatherings of more than 50 people and ordered all schools to be closed by Monday 23 March 2020. In the same vein, all federal higher education institutions and unity colleges have been ordered to close till further notice by the federal government.

The post continues: “As much as I felt like I could push through whatever I was feeling to do #WWHL from home, we’re putting a pin in that for now so I can focus on getting better.  I want to thank all the medical professionals who are working tirelessly for all of us, and urge everybody to stay home and take care of themselves.”
