Famous American country singer, Kenny Rogers is dead and his family took to his Instagram page to announce his death. He was aged 1
The singer topped pop and country charts during the 1970s and 1980s and won three Grammy awards. Kenny who passed on at 81 was popular for his hit single, The Coward of the County.
His death was announced by the family early Saturday, 21st March 2020.
“The Rogers family is sad to announce that Kenny Rogers passed away last night at 10:25 p.m. at the age of 81. Rogers passed away peacefully at home from natural causes under the care of hospice and surrounded by his family,” the family writes in a released statement on his Instagram page.

In view of the ongoing Coronavirus global pandemic, the family is planning a small private service, according a press statement they released. They look forward to celebrating Kenny’s life publicly with his friends and fans at a later date.
