Nigeria’s superstar Afropop singer Yemi Alade is now a member of the Universal Music Group Africa (UMG).
Definitely a big announcement, which the Mama Africa singer has prepped fans up for after recent appearances on Paris radio stations to promote her latest album, Woman of Steel.
The signing agreement comes after UMG, through Universal Music France, signs a global licensing agreement with Yemi Alade’s label, Effyzzie Music Group.
Under the multi-year agreement, UMG will serve as the exclusive worldwide record music partner for Yemi Alade and her record label Effyzzie Music Group, and UMF will serve as the international roll-out partner for the project.
Following the signing of the agreement in Paris on Monday 9th September 2019, the parties took to social media to announce the milestone.
