‘If you can’t reach me, don’t reach me!!!’ – Davido

Nigerian singer and DMW label boss, David Adedeji Adeleke, who is popularly known as Davido, has disclosed that he has changed his phone number.

According to an Instagram message to his followers on Wednesday, 3 May 2020, the popular singer said he is on the path to start a new life.

He stated that he was always putting people before himself all his life. However, now is the time to focus on himself.

The singer, who is currently working on a new album “A Better Time” which is expected to be ready in July, advised his friends not to bother reaching him.

“If you can’t reach me, don’t reach me!!! I’ll contact you. All my life I’ve put people before me. It’s time to actually live my life and take care of myself. I’ve changed my number. I needed some cleansing to do. Love y’all,” Davido writes on his Instagram page

Meanwhile, the artist, whose song “Fall” made history as the first Afrobeats single to go Gold in the USA, is presumably currently bound to his Banana Island mansion home after he sustained an ankle injury limiting his movement. In a previous post, a philosophical Davido stated after the accident that he “needed to sit down in one place anyways.”
