When twitter user Emeka Obia tweeted a largely rhetorical question concerning a certain popular product, that is St Lois sugar, Nigerians were there to provide an insight. The answers ranged from the obvious to the ridiculous, with most respondents relating the phenomenon to brand loyalty and resistance to change on part of consumers.
