The CEO of Iroko TV, Mr Jason Njoku, has taken to his Twitter handle to open up about his mum’s health following her recovery from Coronavirus.
According to Jason, “she isn’t even close to normal“. She still experiences shortness of breath.
Recall that a few weeks back, the Iroko TV boss took to his social media to recount his mum’s survival from the Coronavirus pandemic, which causes COVID-19 disease.
He stated that his mum exhibited all the symptoms of the COVID-19 virus and was still home. He and his wife had to scream at her to go to the hospital.
Jason Njoku also tweeted that he was able to detect the deterioration in his mum’s health because he spoke with her every day.
Well, since her recovery from the virus and hospital discharge, her health hasn’t been the same again.
Taking to his twitter handle, he tweets: “My mum survived Covid19 leaving the hospital 21March. 15wks later she’s still struggling to recover. Not even close to back to ‘normal’. Scarred lungs, shortness of breath etc.”
Jason also included a link to a New York Times article that looked at health complications faced by Coronavirus survivors. “Coronavirus Survivors: Here’s What Recovery May Look Like – NYT ” ”

horrible. this virus is noooo joke!
Poor lady. Life may never be the same again. And it seems like many people that survive Covid-19 are left with residual complications. God heal them.
Loud it, please. Many Nigerians, especially Lagos residents, are refusing to believe that the virus is in Nigeria.
