Award-winning Nigerian international singer, songwriter and entrepreneur – Asa Bukola Elemide popularly known as Asa, has released the videos for latest single, The Beginning.
Asa, who had been absent from the music scene for half a decade returned with a bang, reminding us what we have been missing. She billed her return to music as “a reset and “rebirth“.
This is Asa’s first song in five years after she got married and migrated with her family to France. In the slow emotional jam, Asa sings about a lover whose partner had broken up with and is left broken hardhearted as they cry for days bygone and wish to go back to The Beginning.
Speaking of the song, Asa tells fans on Instagram: “Here is to you, ‘The Beginning’ for me a reset a rebirth. I hope you would love it as much as I do.
“Thank you all for your love and patience.”
The Beginning is directed by Daisy Zhou and is available for download on Asa’s website.
