In 2016, Lil Kesh who was signed to Olamide‘s YBNL Nation released his debut album “YAGI (Young And Getting It)”, after a series of hit singles like ‘Gbese’, ‘Efejoku’, ‘Is it because I love you’, ‘Ibile’, ‘Cause Trouble Parts 1 and 2’.

The album hit the streets on the 17th of March 2016 and featured Davido, Wale, Patoranking, Phyno, Viktoh, Ycee, Adekunle Gold, and label boss, Olamide.

Lil Kesh became the only artist after Olamide to drop an album under YBNL Nation management but left soon afterwards to float his own record label, which he named YAGI Records.

Lil Kesh’s “Y.A.G.I” album is a perfect win for the street as he tells the tale of life on the street from the viewpoint of hustling, love, malevolent celebration and fights. In fact, the entire work is hinged on tales of his hustle, and the success that comes his way.

The major force driving the entire album was based on the concept of being young and successful, with every song connecting the dots and bringing out the bigger picture.

To a great degree, “YAGI (Young And Getting It)” is a journey through the life of a man who rose from the hood to riding through the hood.
