Sadiq Onifade, known popularly by his stage name WurlD, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue a secondary education and record music.

He’s never been the type to cower when it comes to pushing boundaries with his sound and that was very apparent on his “Love is Contagious” EP which was released on the 22nd of March 2019.

For most Nigerian artists crossing over from the other side of the world, it’s usually not an easy transition to winning the hearts of the local music fans but WurlD was able to successfully do that even with a cosmopolitan style that plays against the prevailing sounds.

WurlD has obviously become a wanted commodity in the industry and the fact that he has found a perfect balance between his songwriting and his search for something bigger paved way for so.

His “Love Is Contagious” 9-track EP is a well-coordinated body of work that represents everything he loves: healing, fighting, magic, and fantasy. The album also confidently backs up his claim as a force that’s here to stay.
