Nigerian singer David Adeleke aka Davido released his debut EP, “Son of Mercy”, on the 21st of October 2016 under Sony Music Entertainment. The EP contains five tracks and production credits go to Shizzi, Kiddominant, and Spellz.
Davido gave us a bumper package in the “Son of Mercy” EP featuring guest appearances from South Africa’s rapper, Nasty C, Simi and American singer and songwriter Tinashe.
The EP “Son of Mercy” addresses themes of love and combines elements of Afropop, trap, reggae, highlife, and house. Davido did the majority of the recording of the EP in the United States with “Son of Mercy” making it to the US World Albums (Billboard) and peaking at the 4th spot.
