Undoubtedly, Olamide is one of Nigeria’s finest musicians. He’s a serial hitmaker and is greatly loved among music lovers and even among rival fans. He’s known to make music for the good of it but this time, he made music to actually comment socially on one of the ills of the society, poverty.
He released the Pheelz-produced track, “Poverty Die”, on the 29th of November 2018. It is a song, which shows Olamide as a prayer warrior praying for the end of poverty.
The song was an immediate hit as a lot of people instantly related to it and showed support for the song.
Olamide’s “Poverty Die” continued its rebirth in the pseudo-spiritual video, shot and directed by Unlimited LA, depicting the positive and negative sides to the effect of poverty in a society.
