One of the most interesting things about being creative is the ability to get inspired by absolutely anything in and around you. DJ Cuppy tapped into her creative juices when she collaborated with Zlatan Ibile to made a song off her favourite ice cream, gelato.
She dropped the banging single, “Gelato”, on the 22nd of August 2019. The song, which was produced by Rexxie went viral.
Cuppy also got a shout-out from Nicki Minaj, who Cuppy has always wanted to work with after declaring she would release the visual to “Gelato” once she gets over 20,000 on Youtube to release the video, which she did.
The video features an appearance from Broda Shaggi and was directed by Frizzle and Bizzle Films and Kaffy.
