The third time they say is a charm but we aren’t speaking in terms of his previous two EP being unsuccessful. In fact, Rema EP and Freestyle EP were huge coming from an 18-year-old who just got signed and has a lot to prove.
Rema recently dropped his third EP in one calendar year. Bad Commando he titles it, and as is customary to Rema, the EP houses only just four songs too. Bad Commando EP was released on 4 October 2019 just after Rema got a Headies nomination as the Next Rated Artist.
Bad Commando EP is aimed at making Rema more attractive to a larger audience. The EP is his most experimental project yet. It was produced by OVO’s Oliver El-Khatib, 1Mind, Altims and Hunter.
For a four-song EP, Bad Commando boasts of an impressive array of genres including Latin pop, trap, synth-pop/hi-life and trap.
