Nigeria’s Burna Boy and Teni The Entertainment are in the forefront for the Best African Act crown in the upcoming MTV Europe Music Awards (MTV EMA).
The artists were nominated alongside South African rapper Nasty C and hitmaker Prince Kaybee. Also in the running are Togo’s duo Toofan and Tanzanian musician Harmonize.
Each of them will be hoping to garner enough votes to be declared the winner of the Best African Act in the upcoming MTV EMA.
The award ceremony is scheduled to hold on Sunday, 3 November 2019 at the FIBES, Conference & Exhibition Centre of Seville, Spain. MTV Base will live broadcast the event on DStv channel 322 and GOtv channel 72 at 19:00 WAT.
According to the organisers of the award, fans have the power to vote for their choice from among those nominated.
Voting is open from 1 October 2019 to 2 November 2019. To be eligible to vote, voters must be 13 and above otherwise parental/guardian consent is required.
