For this week’s episode of Trailer Thursday, these are a list of the top Nigerian movies coming to Netflix in July, free for you to watch and de-stress with, as long as you have access, of course.
Nollywood movies have really come a long way in recent times, and there will even be some top original Netflix Naija movies coming to you soon.
However, cinemas aren’t open yet so you can do nothing else but stream movies from home. Below is the list of Nollywood movies to watch on Netflix this month.
1. Sugar Rush
Sugar Rush is a hilarious movie that follows what happened when three sisters stumble upon 800 thousand dollars. Clue: chaos ensues.
It stars Bisola Aiyeola, Banky W, Adesua Etomi, Omoni Oboli, Toke Makinwa, Tobi Bakare, Nkem Owoh, Adedimeji Lateef, Zack Orji, Mawuli Gavor, Williams Uchemba and Bimbo Ademoye, amongst others.

2. Survival of Jelili
Survival Of Jelili is a comic story of an idiot by nature, Jelili played by Femi Adebayo. In his quest to attain societal relevance, he takes on different jobs. In the end, it will leave you with lessons mixed with lots of laughter to his folly.
It stars Seyi Law, Woli Agba (Ayo Ajewole), Woli Arole, Desmond Elliot, Dele Odule, Toyin Abraham, Ninalowo Bolanle, Gbenga Adeyinka, Rachael Okonkwo, Oshiko Twins, amongst others.

3. Nimbe
Nimbe is a story addressing the issues associated with drug abuse, some of the causes, how to identify and avoid such.
Nimbe stars Chimezie Imo as Nimbe alongside Odunlade Adekola, Toyin Abraham, Kelechi Udegbe and Sani Musa Danja.

4. The Millions
‘The Millions’ tells a story of some con artists coming together to work on stealing a huge sum of money. Failure with the operation puts their lives at risk. The mission leads to betrayal, friendship and true love.
‘The Millions’ stars Ramsey Nouah, Ayo Makun, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Nancy Isime, Broda Shaggi, Toyin Abraham and others.

5. Your Excellency
Chief Olalekan Ajadi, a bumbling, billionaire businessman and failed presidential candidate, is obsessed with Donald Trump.
Just when his campaign looks set to be another disaster, Ajadi is anointed by a major party and becomes a credible contender, all through the power of social media.

In ‘Cold Feet’, a woman runs into an old flame at an exotic resort where she is with her husband, and they’re celebrating their fifth anniversary.

7. Locked
‘Locked’ explores mental health issues in the Nigerian society. A young lady takes her fiancée to visit her parents only to discover that her mother killed her father in a psychotic fit after she found out he was going to leave her for a younger woman.

8. The Perfect Picture – Ten Years Later
The Perfect Picture, 10 Years Later continues the story of the three beautiful friends, Aseye, Dede and Akese. After 10 years, the girls are older, wiser and saddled with more issues in their not so fairy-tale relationships.
It’s the roller coaster side of imperfect husbands, repentant ex-boyfriends, financial woes and sexual liberation with a touch of a miracle that drives the spirit of their stories.
