See Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham on set of Hobbs and Shaw

Dwayne Johnson a.k.a The Rock has posted another picture of him on the set of the movie Hobbs and Shaw.

Johnson, who is playing the role of Luke Hobbs, took to Instagram to reveal another behind-the-scenes photo from the set of Universal Pictures’ film Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. That photo is our first look into the titular action, whose main villain, Brixton, is played by Golden Globe winner Idris Elba

The film shows Dwayne Johnson as his normal role being a Diplomatic Security Service agent Luke Hobbs and Jason Statham’s assassin Deckard Shaw. The production options a script from Chris Morgan, who has worked on the franchise since Tokyo Drift in 2006.

Johnson’s  Hobbs first appeared in 2011’s Fast Five and has appeared in every Fast & Furious film since then, with Statham’s Shaw creating his debut associate exceedingly in a very post-credit scene throughout 2013’s fast Six and serving as the main antagonist of Furious seven with an appearance within the Fate of the Furious yet. Hobbs and Shaw is set to be released on 26th of July 2019. The approaching production could be a separate film from the in-development ninth and tenth films within the series. fast & Furious nine are going to be released on 10 April 2020, with Fast & Furious ten set to conclude the series on 2 April 2021.
