The company is the first studio ever to earn more than 10 billion dollars at the worldwide box office.
Disney reportedly made $3.28 billion from moviegoers in North America and pulled in $6.7 billion overseas.
That brings the total to $9.997 with the company expected to close in on $10 billion on Monday, 16 December.
So far this year, Disney has released Avengers: Endgame, The Lion King remake, Aladdin, Toy Story 4, Captain Marvel, and Frozen 2.
Disney has managed to grow a following of people so dedicated to its movies, that every movie the studio releases is a crowd favourite.
Amazingly, Disney is not done with movie releases this year, as on 20 December, the studio is set to release the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Rise of Starwalker in cinemas.
Interestingly, these figures don’t include the figures that technically fall under Disney since the company’s acquisition of Fox earlier this year.
That would put movies like Ford v Ferrari and Dark Phoenix under Disney’s umbrella and bring their total up to 11.9 billion dollars.
