The announcement made by the Clarence House official Twitter says that the visit is scheduled to take place from 31st October 31st to 8th November 2018.
According to Clarence House, this will be the first time the Royal couple will be in The Gambia, as well as the first time Camilla will be in Ghana and Nigeria. Prince Charles visited Kano back in 2006.
The reason for their visit will be to highlight the importance of the countries’ Commonwealth ties.

Did you know the forthcoming visit to The Gambia will be The Prince and The Duchess’s first visit to the country? It will also be the first visit to both Ghana and Nigeria for The Duchess.
