On Wednesday 25th November 2020, Walmart fulfiled it’s promise to restock gaming consoles PS5 and Xbox Series S and X, but it sold out in about two minutes.
Gaming enthusiasts are not taking their feet off the pedal this holiday season as the rush to get hands on the latest next-gen gaming consoles continues.
Since pre-order window for PS5, Xbox Series X and Series S closed; finding where to buy them has been near impossible. When the consoles launched on 10th November for Xbox and 12th November for the PlayStation, there had been no in-store sales . Traditionally, in-store sales has always been an option on launch dates.

The reason for this change is to avoid congestion and rush amidst a global pandemic.
However, Microsoft and Sony appear to have their work cut out for them to meet the ever increasing demand for the gaming consoles. Both companies are assuring customers that they will keep producing more consoles well into 2021.
This is why stores like Walmart, Amazon and others will keep having PS5 and Xbox Series X|S restock regularly. If you want to buy the consoles, you will need to be vigilant and be on the lookout for the next restock.
Especially, PS5 restocks, they are the hottest commodities at this time selling out within minutes.
