The award must be a soothing balm to the struggling company whose customer base continues to decline, which makes us to wonder the criteria for the award. Unless, of course, the idea of customer loyalty and brand performance is to be considered mutually exclusive, but we don’t know and no one has clarified things.
But if a report by LIB is anything to go by, the award is “an acknowledgment of 9mobile’s versatility and strength even with difficulties which the organisation pulled through in the course of recent years.”
Recently, 9mobile was also recognised as a ‘Top 50 Brands Nigeria’ 2018 for its innovation, customer-centricity, youth empowerment and impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
