Apparently, there’s no stopping for Huawei as the company shares its ambition to top the heap before the end of 2019.
Huawei expressed its intention of selling 200 million smartphone units by 2019, a bar that only Samsung and Apple have achieved. To do that, Huawei will need to lure even more buyers away from competitors and also address its absence from the U.S.
The Consumer division chief, Richard Yu, said that he wants Huawei to be No. 1 in smartphones by the fourth quarter of next year, with a market share of more than 20%.
