According to the police, his limbless headless torso was found in his apartment with an electric saw lying close to the body. The police also said that there was very little blood at the scene of the murder.
“We have a torso, a head that’s been removed, arms, and legs. Everything is still on the scene. We don’t have a motive,” NYPD spokesman Sgt. Carlos Nieves said.
Contractor bags were also found at the scene of the murder, although the police did not immediately open it to check its contents.
Saleh’s body was found by one of his sisters who was worried after not seeing him for a day. She went to his seventh-floor apartment and, upon finding his body, called the police.
An electronic surveillance camera may have caught the perpetrator of the act. The camera saw Saleh get into an elevator with another man in a suit, mask, gloves and hat following him quickly after.
Once Saleh stepped out onto his floor, he fell immediately, either shot or stunned. He only recently moved into the apartment after buying it in 2019 for 2.25 million dollars.
He was evidently very proud of his purchase, often sharing pictures of his home on social media.

Fahim Saleh was only 33 years old and was the CEO of the ride-hailing company, Gokada. The company faced setbacks earlier this year after the Lagos State Government created new laws that prevented motorbikes from working in the state.
Before he set up the company in Nigeria, the tech enthusiast had set up a number of companies, including a prank dialling company that he claimed made him over 10 million dollars.
Wicked, wicked, wicked! Poor guy. Hope they find the perpetrator of this wicked act. Rest his soul.
