It’s quite surprising that Augustine ‘Tekno‘ Miles Kelechi since his hit song ‘Duro’ in 2015 is only just releasing an album 5 years later.
Fans and music lovers have long yearned for a body of work from the Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer and after years of waiting, it’s finally here.
Tekno released his debut album on the 10th of December 2020 titled “Old Romance”, a 14-track piece conceived around a love story.
The brand new album “Old Romance” is the singer’s first full-length project and it’s being released by Island Records alongside Universal Music.
“This year was difficult, from the pandemic to global protests to shifts in power and figuring out how loud our voices are together as Black people,” Tekno said in a statement.
With this album, “I want people to feel joy and freedom to live and just be.”
