Kendrick Lamar alongside Travis Scott and Tyler the Creator will all be headlining the 2021 Day N Vegas festival, which will take place at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds from 12 November through the 14th.
It appears this will be Kendrick Lamar’s only performance of 2021. However, the biggest disappointment is the reports about the rapper apparently not bringing new music with him.
Lamar’s set on the festival poster hinted his performance would be retrospective sort of, rather than him debuting or teasing any long-awaited new music. “From Section.80 to Damn,” the poster reads, referencing Lamar’s first and latest album. This means he would be performing songs from his first and most recent albums.

The year 2021 marks the tenth anniversary of Section.80, but Kendrick Lamar’s last project, “DAMN”, is only four years old.
“DAMN” was released back in 2017, going on to become the first non-jazz or classical work to win the Pulitzer Prize for Music. Fans of the Compton rapper have been anxious for new music and even more hopeful after Top Dawg Entertainment teased a May announcement which ended up being the comeback for rapper Isaiah Rashad.
Whichever plan is in play, fans have no choice otherwise. We all have to wait patiently on that new material.
Kendrick Lamar would also be headlining the 2021 Day N Vegas show alongside SZA, DaBaby, Saweetie, YG, Lil Uzi Vert, Doja Cat, Don Tolliver, Griselda, Joey Bada$$, Cordae, Freddie Gibbs, Jazmine Sullivan, Polo G, Ari Lennox, Isaiah Rashad among others.
