Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice to rescue a 2-2 draw for 10-man Juventus, away at AS Roma in the Italian Serie A on Sunday after Jordan Veretout had twice put the capital club in front.
Veretout and Ronaldo scored for both sides via the penalty spot before the break after both teams were penalised for handball, before the French midfielder put Roma ahead with his second of the night in the first-half stoppage time.
Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot was shown a second yellow card to leave the Italian Champions a man down for the final third of the match, but a towering Ronaldo header earned a point for Andrea Pirlo‘s side.

The draw leaves the champions in fifth place earning four points from their opening two league games.
Roma are down in 13th on one point, as their opening day 0-0 draw against Hellas Verona was changed to a 3-0 defeat by Serie A because they fielded an ineligible player.
Inter beat Fiorentina 4-3 in their season opener
On Saturday, last season second-placed team, Inter Milan, edged a 7-goal thriller against Fiorentina in their season opener at the San Siro.
Danilo D’Ambrosio’s late goal settled the win for Antonio Conte’s men as the game was almost heading for a draw.
Christian Kouame put La Viola ahead from close range after only three minutes but Lautaro Martinez equalised following a breakaway on the stroke of half-time after Inter saw a penalty overturned by VAR.
An own goal from Federico Ceccherini saw the Nerazzurri retake the lead but two goals in the space of five minutes from Gaetano Castrovilli and Federico Chiesa looked to have put the match to bed at 3-2.

Antonio Conte’s men, though, rallied as Romelu Lukaku levelled things up with three minutes to go and defender D’Ambrosio sealed a dramatic victory when he headed home a corner in front of 1,000 fans.
